From May 2017 to June 2021 we undertook a 4 year project to employ a Families and Community Pioneer for the Benefice. This was made possible by the generous support of The Diocesan Life Fund, Sylvanus Lysons and a number of local donors.
With the completion of the project, Helen, our wonderful Pioneer, has now moved on to further her training as a priest in another Parish.
The legacy of the project however lives on! The work Helen instigated in linking the Church with the wider community is being carried on through our Associate Pioneers; Pete and Lorraine Best. Their contact details are:-
